Blogs, Resources, and Screenwriter Hangouts on the Internet

Posted by – January 7, 2008

Now that I have a blog and am trying to take over the Internet, I see that there are plenty of blogs out there with first mover advantage. Not that I object right now. When it comes to screenwriting there are a few blogs that are really good.

Here is what I’ve found so far that I like:

Mystery Man on Film

Mystery Man on Film describes itself as full of tips, tricks, etc. but better than that there’s a “Best Of” section highlighting sections on character development, sub-plot, etc.  You can find that on the menu off to the right. This is really good stuff.

But one strange thing I’ve noticed is a theme of so-called writers who don’t what to reveal their identity.  In second place is this guy:

The Unknown Screenwriter

He comes out straight with “If I tell you who I am I’ll have to kill you.” Like, chill. Bra. No one cares.

I’ve also compiled a list of screenwriting and film blogs in the menu on my blog off to the right.
